Capital flow
Where a creator fee goes, and which column it is in at each step. The figure beside each stage is what is actually there — which is why four of the five are zero.

A payout is addressed
CLAIMABLEAddressed to someone who has not taken it. Still not received — and this is the word the site this answers uses for it anyway.
0.0000 SOL
nothing has reached this stage

It is taken
RECEIVEDA claim carrying a transaction signature and a slot. This is the only step that can move a figure into RECEIVED, and the database refuses the row without both.
0.0000 SOL
nothing has reached this stage

Or it lapses
LAPSEDNot taken, and returned. Recorded separately and never added to the first — a payout that lapsed is not a smaller version of one that arrived.

Why the fourth step is the whole product
Steps three and five look alike from the outside: in both, money was addressed to somebody and they have nothing. The site this answers prints Received for both — 25 times on one profile — while its own documentation says an unclaimed payout returns to it after fourteen days. Here they are different columns, and no arithmetic anywhere can add one to the other, because received is a VIEW that sums claim events and nothing else can write to it.
